Super Easy Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies from a Cake Mix!


In a hurry? Cake mix and canned pumpkin - that's it! Amazingly simple and they taste GREAT!
SERVES 10 , 48 cookies

Ingredients
36 ounces spice cake mix (2 18oz. dry cake mixes)
29 ounces canned pumpkin (the large size can)

1 (12 ounce) bag chocolate chips
1 1/2 chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions
1 Mix the 2 dry cake mixes and the pumpkin together until moist.
2 Add the chocolate chips and nuts.
3 Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

Recipe For Daily Success

The KITCHEN is the HEART of the HOME! I'm sharing this recipe with you to give you some inspiration on some fun ways to share a great recipe of daily success!
I have used this recipe for so many different ideas! My favorite is to tuck it inside a homemade apron pocket for a gift! I have changed the recipe to fit Christmas! (One barrel of Christmas Cheer, 1 cup of JOY, etc) I have also attached this recipe to measuring cups, and tucked them inside a mitten hot pad!

Here is a fun idea! Decoupage an over sized recipe on your tabletop for a heaping helping of style and sentiment! (click to enlarge)

From the Heart and Kitchen of Grandma!


I love my Recipe Magnet Board! It works great in the kitchen and I love the little magnets!
Before Christmas, Grandma Lynna asked us for our favorite recipes from everyone in the family. We were surprised and happy to see all of our favorite recipes returned on embellished 3x5 recipe cards with buttons and ribbons inside a hand made bag with darling little magnets!

The pictures on the recipe cards are unique heirloom pictures from "Days Gone By"! She also made us hand made aprons and other unique kitchen gadgets in a cute red storage container. It is a cherished gift! I love it!

Holiday Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hand made cookie bags for home made cookies!

My Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe!
The real, the original, the authentic Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup (2 sticks, 1/2 pound) butter, softened

3/4 cup granulated [white] sugar

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

2 cups (12-ounce package) NESTLE TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

1 cup chopped nuts



--------------------------------------------------------------------------------COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition; gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

BAKE in preheated 375-degree [Fahrenheit] oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

PAN COOKIE VARIATION: PREPARE dough as above. Spread into greased 15"x10" jelly-roll pan. Bake in preheated 375-degree [Fahrenheit] oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack.

FOR HIGH ALTITUDE BAKING (>5,200 feet): INCREASE flour to 2 1/2 cups; add 2 teaspoonfuls water with flour; reduce both granulated sugar and brown sugar to 2/3 cup each. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit, drop cookies for 8 to 10 minutes and pan cookies for 17 to 19 minutes.
