A Bountiful Harvest

Hello Friends!
Sending out a "Happy Monday" to everyone!  Some of you may remember this Fall Centerpiece from a previous post (9/2009). This centerpiece is one of my favorites!

Thank you for your emails regarding the
Fall Centerpiece I created a few weeks ago from
(The Twelve Days of Creative Fall).  This tutorial will give you a little more creative inspiration!

For a stunning multi-level arrangement, combine fresh flowers, seasonal fruits and dried materials. Select autumn's classic forms: field-grown wheat, pumpkins, Indian corn, apples and fall flowers.

Materials:
8 1/2" diameter floral foam ring(must be slightly larger than the top diameter of your larger vase)
8" X 12" clear glass cylinder base
2" X 6" clear glass cylinder vase.
Harvest vegetables, picks, wheat or whatever you choose to use or have on hand!

Directions:
1. Fill a large clear cylindrical vase with produce and top it with a floral foam ring! Soak the floral-foam ring in water for 15 minutes.

2.Center the small cylinder vase inside the larger one. The small vase acts as a spacer. Fill your cylinder with harvest vegetables!

3.Place the Foam ring on top of the large cylinder vase. The ring will be covered with dried and fresh floral materials.

4. Evenly arrange the pieces on the foam ring, inserting picks as you go.

5. Insert the dried grass, wheat or whatever you choose to use through the floral ring and into the small cylinder vase.

So many possibilities with the beauty of nature!

A Fall Centerpiece Tutorial

The Twelve Days Of Creative Fall!
Welcome back to Arizona...where we celebrate
Seasons In The Sun!
(I added a magnet to the chalkboard, so you can easily add notes and fun magnets)
 CREATE A FALL CENTERPIECE
A Fall Harvest Centerpiece
with sunflowers, the colors of Fall, along with
Pumpkins, Apples and Sprinkles of Fall!

I have taken several pictures of my Fall Centerpiece indoors.
The pictures turn out fine, but the lighting inside my home does not portray the true colors of Fall
that you see in the centerpiece.
My best pictures are from this little black bench on my front porch.
(Natural Light is always best.)

You CAN easily make this Fall Centerpiece.
Supplies:
Tall cylinder glass vase or any tall container.
One glass vase or container that fits inside tall container that will allow
space for your fruits and vegetables.
Fall Harvest fruits and Vegetables of your choice
Long Fall Flower Stems
(T found my flowers at Michaels Craft Store 50% off)
Fall garland and Fall Beaded Wreath (optional)
Fall Ribbon

Follow along with the pictures, the steps are pretty simple and self explanatory.
Fill your Glass Cylinder Vase with Fall Harvest Fruits and Vegetables
Add a Fall Wreath Garland of Fall Beads
Add your tall Fall Flowers to the smaller Glass vase.
You may want to tie them to keep them together.
Add Sunflowers around the Glass Vase to your liking.
Add Fall Ribbon and  you are finished!
You can display your Fall Centerpiece well into the end of November!
Place your Centerpiece with baskets of Fall Harvest vegetables.

Enjoy!

Thank you for your etsy orders!
Your orders are on their way!
Have a Beautiful Fall Day!
Thanks for visiting!
I will be back with Fall and Halloween Banners.

Spring Inspiration

Hello Spring!
Don't you just love the colors of Spring?
The colors are so refreshing, soothing and calm.

While I was taking pictures of my Arizona flowers, something I love to do every spring.
I felt so inspired! I hope you feel inspired as well.

(Inspiration and above photos from Country Living.).
I decided to create some spring arrangements with my outdoor spring flowers.
I added the flowers to an existing green floral vase that I use for all seasons.
(Photos: Deck The Halls of Home with JOY).

As I was working on projects, my little daughter was enjoying her projects.
She invited a few of her favorite friends.
I couldn't resist showing her pictures, so much cuter then anything I could create.
My daughter asked me to join her little tea party.
I decided to join in on all the fun!
My projects can wait.

Family....a journey to forever.
So True!
Thanks for visiting.
