PLOT:

Award nominated film and television actress Lucy Liu (Ally McBeal, Charlie's Angels) stars in the Lifetime Television original miniseries event Marry Me, the story of one woman's journey to find her elusive "Prince Charming." But when she happens to find three at the same time, who she ultimately chooses is a surprise... even to her.

Liu stars as Rae Ann Carter, a single aspiring artist-turned-social worker who always wanted a fairytale romance - to fall madly in love and live happily ever after. But when her two-year relationship falls apart, Rae unexpectedly falls for a new man, Luke (Pasquale), who asks her to marry her after a few short dates. Just as everything seems to fall into place for Rae, her ex-boyfriend Adam (Cannavale) suddenly re-emerges into her life with a proposal of his own. Things get even further complicated when a third man (Murciano), smitten by Rae, enters the picture and asks for her hand in marriage, as well. With three men after her heart, who will be Rae's Prince Charming?

PLOT:

Every year Joy works like crazy in the weeks leading up to the Holidays to make everyting perfect for her family. This is her family'as last Christmas together before the boys head off to college, and she wants to make it the best ever!

After her attempts to involve her husband and boys fail, and feeling completely unsupported and taken for granted, Joy goes on strike.

Soon Joy's best friend, and other women in the community join in. The story is picked up by a local news reporter and the strike takes on a life of it's own.

With Christmas Day quickly approaching and chaos abounding, Joy and her family come to understand what is most important and, with a little holiday magic, ultimately come together for a truly perfect Christmas!

PLOT:

Julia Bedford is a dedicated homemaker whose world is rocked when in her divorce; she is left with next to nothing. When Julia finally hits rock bottom and finds herself living in her car, she decides to begin her comeback and ultimately discovers what is really valuable in life.


Movie Review:

This is an interesting and inspiring movie. Julia Bedford starts the movie out as a well-off Married Woman who seems to have it all - until her husband leaves her.

Julia is robbed, ends up in the hospital, loses her apartment, and she loses the little amount of money she got in the marriage settlement, and does end up living in her car. Help from new friends gets her through tough times and her own determination to make a better life for herself and her daughter.

There is also the happenstance of a new relationship with the son of the man she is working for... and this father and son add such a sweet addition to the story. Their help for Julia is the most precious- when they surprise Julia with Christmas lights added to the home she is pretending to be hers over the Holidays!

It's a story with such real aspects of life - that inspires and encourages.

99 DAYS until CHRISTMAS... Let the Countdown begin!!!

September 16, 2010 -

It's hard to believe it's already mid-September! It's nearly Autumn, children are back to schoolwork, it's Harvest Season on the farm, and there are only 99 Days until Christmas!

Have you done any shopping or list making, yet. I must say I have... just a little! I am hoping, as I do every year, to have all of the gift buying done early so I can enjoy the season's true meaning all the more!

I have been looking over the new Christmas Movies on DVD, and trying to decide which ones to add to our collection this year...
