Just in time for Valentine's Day... New Hallmark Channel Romantic Comedy!

The Hallmark Channel premiered A Valentine Date and Smooch last weekend...  and this weekend, just before Valentine's Day... they will premiere a new Romantic Comedy Movie, titled: Accidentally in Love! *See a video promo below!

Your Love Never Fails
You can actually see All Three of these Romantic Movies this Weekend on the Hallmark Channel... Smooch,  A Valentine Date,  and the New Accidentally in Love!

I must say - I watched  A Valentine Date and Smooch last weekend... and our family enjoyed both of them very much.

A Valentine Date (also titled: Your Love Never Fails) is very family friendly, set in beautiful Texas - Horse Country, and is available on dvd.

I didn't expect to, but I also really loved Smooch - so cute! However, there is some drinking in the intro to the movie, but other than that - it is perfectly sweet and very funny!

Hopefully, Accidentally in Love will be another sweet Hallmark Channel movie!

PLOT:

from Hallmark:

Eddie James is an actor stuck in a big Rabbit's suit on a popular children's show. What he really wants is to be a respected actor.

Annie Baker is a widow and mother to 6-year-old, Taylor, a precocious child with a big heart. She's a huge fan of Mulligan the Rabbit and she's slowly losing her eyesight. Annie's running late to the diner where she works. Eddie's on his way to landing a big role in a big budget feature when the two cars collide.

Thankfully, no one's hurt, but the accident will set them both on a new path. Neither is looking for love, but soon, Eddie's heart melts when he sees first-hand how much Taylor loves Mulligan. Eddie sets out to help pay for an experimental surgery for Taylor when he lands a big role. At a fork in the road, which will he choose? Love or the job he's always dreamed of?

Larry Levinson is the executive producer for Larry Levinson Productions.

Movie Review:

Caution - may include Spoilers...
This Hallmark Channel Original Movie has a great family feel to it. The storyline revolves around this little girl, Taylor, who is in need of an eye surgery procedure to restore/keep her vision. She can see currently, but not well.... which helps to explain her love for a bright and cheerful kids television show with a Bunny Rabbit character named Mulligan.

By the way, the movie was originally titled Mulligan, but was changed to Accidentally in Love. I think that was a good decision. The movie had more meaning beyond that of the Bunny TV Show.

Taylor's Mother, Annie, is young and widowed... doing her best to raise her daughter and hold down her job as a waitress.

Eddie James is an actor wannabe - currently acting under the bunny suit of Mulligan.

Well, one day Annie and Eddie's cars collide in a minor car accident. Let's just say... from then on, sparks fly! At first, Eddie is living only for himself - desiring only the fast track to stardom and fame - but once he gets to know Annie more and Taylor's eye condition, his heart gradually changes...

A few cautions: Eddie's roommate often makes often-handed odd comments... one regarding "chicks" that I didn't like, etc... and he acts very silly & a bit wacky. Scott and Eddie go to a club where there is dancing and drinking. Eddie acts disinterested, though, and eventually leaves and goes to visit Annie at work.

I enjoyed seeing the character of Eddie evolve to caring more about Annie and Taylor, then himself... and it was sweet to see Annie open her heart again to Eddie, although she thinks he has broken it - when she learns he misled them about Taylor getting her eye surgery.

The little girl who plays Taylor is so precious. She didn't seem like she was in any hurry to be grown up. It was wonderful to see a little girl act as a little girl and enjoy something as normal and child-like as a Bunny Rabbit and roller skating.

In the end, Annie and Eddie do end up Accidentally in Love - though there are various obstacles along the way... Taylor's eye surgery will cost way too much for them to afford and she'll have to wait years to get assistance, Annie is not sure she is ready for love since losing her husband, and Taylor and Annie have no idea that Eddie is the guy under the Bunny Mulligan suit.

It's quite an adventure... that ends up to be a very sweet movie - and yes, a Happy Ending!

See, cute movie.

New Hallmark Channel Movie Coming - Starring Jennie Garth & Written by Peter Facinelli

While Beverly Hills 90210 star Jennie Garth writes childrens books, her husband, Peter Facinelli, writes film scripts. The two will be working in the future - together on a script he wrote for the Hallmark Channel.

Details - below picture...

It's being reported that Jennie can't wait to star in his film. She says, "He's a wonderful writer and we're finally getting one of his projects off the ground. I'm going to be starring in it, so that's exciting," Jennie says. "It's about an actor inside the Barney suit - a giant stuffed animated kids character - and he meets a woman who changes his perspective on things. It's a sweet love story with no big moral message; it's pure entertainment."

So will Jennie's husband, Peter, make an appearance in the film? "Peter really wants to be in it and I keep saying, 'No, we shouldn't work together!' It's still up in the air so we'll see. My husband is super busy and he's on fire right now. He's got two other projects that he wrote getting off the ground so my household is buzzing right now!"

Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli are both actors, writers, and parents to daughters Luca, 12, Lola, 7, and Fiona, 3.

There is no title known, yet, for this Hallmark Movie or when we can expect to see it on our TV screens.

Stay Tuned...
