Cheryl Ladd and Bruce Boxleitner star in "Love's Resounding Courage"


"Love's Resounding Courage" is the second prequel to "Love Comes Softly," the highly rated series of "Loves" movies from Hallmark Channel.

From the Hallmark press alert:
This new Hallmark Channel Original Movie tells the story of Clark's beloved wife, Ellen, who dies from scarlet fever and now he and his daughter, Missy, must find a way to overcome this loss while also saving the barren land from drought. Family and friends become their saving grace.

Cheryl Ladd and Bruce Boxleitner will star as Clark's parents.

Cheryl Ladd starred in another Hallmark Movie, Though None Go with Me. She is best known from Charlie's Angels as the character Kris Munroe, from 1977-1981. Her daughter, Jordan Ladd, recently starred in the Hallmark Movie, The Wishing Well, with Jason London and Ernest Borgnine.

Bruce Boxleitner has starred in several Hallmark, Made-for-TV Movies... including: Mystery Woman: Wild West Mystery (2006) as Clint and Falling in Love with the Girl Next Door as Frank Lucas (Sheeley Long's husband). In real life, he is the husband of Melissa Gilbert and is well known from his role as Lee Stetson on Scarecrow and Mrs. King and many other TV Movies and Dramas.
